About Tus Airways

Tus Airways is a new airline based at Larnaca International Airport (LCA), Cyprus, headquartered in Larnaca. Tus Airways started operating in March 2016 and was founded to provide improved access between Cyprus and neighbouring countries in the Eastern Mediterranean with high frequency schedule during the day, comfortable, economic and alternative flights.

The first flight was with a Saab 340B operating from Larnaca to Tel Aviv and Haifa in Israel. Tus Airways was awarded the Air Operator Certificate in October 2015 and the Commercial Aviation License in December 2015. Tus Airways currently has flights to Israel (Tel Aviv and Haifa), the Greek Islands in the summer period (Rhodes, Samos, Kos, Kefalonia, Karpathos, Mytilene & Skiathos), and Amman.

Tus Airways fleet currently consists of two SAAB 2000 with a capacity of 50 seats. Duty free is provided on board for flights between Cyprus and non-European countries such as: Lebanon, Jordan, Ukraine, Israel and Egypt. Larnaca International Airport is registered under Hermes Airports Ltd in Cyprus. Hermes Airports Ltd is an international consortium of 9 shareholders, representing a mix of Cypriot and international partners. They run another airport – Pafos airport. Annually, the two airports together handle over 7 million passengers.

Tus Airways passengers are permitted one piece of hand baggage with a maximum weight of 8kg.

Checked Baggage

The maximum weight for baggage booked onto your Tus Airways flight is 20kg. Checked baggage should not exceed 55cm x 40cm x 20cm.

 


Tus Airways Check-in

Online Check-in

Online Check-in for Tus Airways is available from 24 hours and up to four hours before flight departure. Passengers should print their boarding pass once online check-in is completed. You should be at the boarding gate at least 45 minutes before flight departure.

Airport Check-in

Unaccompanied minors, passengers requiring special assistance and passengers travelling in a group of ten or more are required to check-in at the airport before their Tus Airways flight.

TUS Airways launches new direct flight

TUS Airways has launched a direct service, ferrying passengers from Larnaca to Thessaloniki, expanding its operations even further. The new route will start on March 25 and TUS will be offering flights four times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. On Mondays, the flight will be leaving at 7:50am from Larnaca and 10:50am from Thessaloniki, on Wednesday at 5pm from Larnaca and 8pm from Thessaloniki, on Friday at 4.50pm from Larnaca and 9.50pm from Thessaloniki while on Saturday it will be departing at 8am from Larnaca and 1.30pm from Thessaloniki. In-flight services include a meal, soft/hot drinks and hand baggage up to 8kg.

TUS Airways expands its operation

The Cypriot airline TUS Airways: continues to grow, expanding its operation with new direct route from Larnaca to Rome – capital of Italy.

The new yearly and scheduled route between Larnaca and Rome will commence on the 10th of November with two weekly flights, on Monday and Friday, departing at 12:30 pm from Larnaca and 16:45pm from Rome – Fiumicino . In-flight services on board this route include meal, soft/hot drinks and hand baggage up to 8kg. Tickets for one way from Larnaca will start from just 70 Euros and from Rome 82 Euros including taxes. Tickets are available for booking through the company’s website (www.tusairways.com) or travel agencies.

The new route will be operated by two Fokker 100 jets that joined lately to the airline’s fleet. The jets have already started operating flights from Larnaca to the Greek islands and Tel Aviv.

The Fokker 100, produced by the Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker, is a 100 seats jet which offers travelers maximum comfort and spacious leg room, while allowing fast boarding of flights. The Fokker jets are highly regarded as efficient, reliable and fast aircrafts and aside TUS Airways it is an aircraft of choice and indispensable part of the fleet of prestigious airlines.

TUS Airways is already operating successfully direct flights from Larnaca to various Greek islands and from Larnaca, Paphos, Athens and Greek islands to Tel Aviv and Haifa in Israel, while passengers enjoying the comfort that TUS Airways has become synonymous with.

Tus Airways announced it was to launch direct flights from Paphos to Israel in the summer of 2017

The company plans to start flights to and from Haifa and Tel Aviv this summer, using Paphos airport as its hub. TUS said it will have four to six flights to Haifa every week and between two to four flights to Tel Aviv. 

The airline also plans to add Athens to its destinations in the next few months. The Paphos regional board of tourism welcomed the decision, noting that TUS could also connect the district with other neighbouring countries in the future.
