Precision Air is a Tanzanian airline based at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. Precision Air operates flights to Nairobi and airports in Tanzania. Jade Tier:
Upon enrollment, members will be given their unique Paa Royal number, which they must always show when buying tickets as well as when checking - in at the Airport. After flying three times and above members will be given a Jade membership card. With the card they will be recognized as members of the Paa Royal Program.

Members will be entitled to special treatment and Priority Treatment whenever they are travelling.

Precision Air is based at Julius Nyerere International Airport is the international airport of Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania. The airport has flights to destinations in Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Airlines which use Julius Nyerere International Airport include Air Seychelles, EgyptAir, Kenya Airways, Malawi Airlines (Air Malawi) and RwandAir. The Airport has two runways and can handle nearly 4 million passengers per year. Julius Nyerere International is also the hub airport for Air Tanzania, Fastjet Tanzania and Flightlink.

Vector Aerospace signs exclusive agreement with Precision Air Services
Vector Aerospace, a global independent provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has signed a new seven-year exclusive engine service agreement with Precision Air Services to support the Tanzanian airline’s fleet of ATR regional turboprop aircraft.
The signing of this new agreement demonstrates Precision Air Services’ confidence in the support received from Vector’s facility in Gonesse, France, over the past three years.
Precision Air is the second largest operator of ATR aircraft in Africa, flying a fleet of five ATR 72-500, three ATR 42-500 and one ATR 42-600 regional turboprops to destinations including Nairobi, Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Zanzibar and Dodoma.
While signing the agreement, Ms. Sauda Rajab, CEO of Precision Air Services, said: “It is indeed an honor to renew our contract with Vector Aerospace France, who have over the last three years done a remarkable job in overhauling our engines. Vector Aerospace France has been a true partner working with us tirelessly to ensure we put back the bulk of our aircraft into operation. I take this opportunity to personally thank them for their support over the last three years, and to assure them of our continued patronage of their services in the years to come.”
“We have been partnering with Precision Air Services for the past three years, and we are proud and honored to receive this new vote of confidence,” said Christian Venzal, CEO of Vector Aerospace France. “This exclusive seven-year agreement will further reinforce our commitment to Precision Air to increase its operational efficiency, thanks to the remarkable robustness and quality of our relationships. Under the terms of the exclusive multi-year agreement, Vector will provide Precision Air with comprehensive engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services from its Gonesse facility on the outskirts of Paris, along with engineering, training and engine condition trend monitoring (ECTM) services.
“We are delighted to count Precision Air Services among our partners,” said Tayeb Bouhassis, Regional Sales Director with Vector Aerospace France. “This contract reinforces the perception of the Vector brand, and consolidates our leading position in the African large turboprop engine MRO market.”
Precision Air Services is a Tanzanian publicly owned company, with the principal shareholders being Kenya Airways (which owns 41%) and entrepreneur Mr. Michael Shirima (who holds 42%), with the remaining 17% of the airline being owned by the Tanzanian public. Precision Air Services provides safe, efficient and reliable air transport to Coastal East Africa and neighboring countries, and has a code-sharing partnerships with other airlines including Etihad, Kenya Airways, KLM and Swiss.

Precision Air to resume flights to Comoro
Precision Air will resume its operations to Hahaya, Comoros in August after operation review and stabilisation of fleet size. The airline suspended its flights to Hahaya earlier in 2014 while undergoing a strategy review which also involved route rationalisation.
"We understand there is a demand for transport between Dar es Salaam - Hahaya. As any commercially oriented entity, we went back to our drawing table and worked on a plan that would allow us to service the route efficiently with our now stable fleet," Precision Air's Commercial Director, Mr Robert Owusu, is quoted as saying in a statement.
Mr Owusu further explained that Precision Air flights between Dar es Salaam and Hahaya will strengthen the good trade relations between Tanzania and Comoros and that Precision Air will operate three flights per week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
