About Plus Ultra Líneas
Plus Ultra Líneas Aeréas, also known as Plus Ultra, is a Spanish long-haul airline based at Madrid Airport. Plus Ultra was established in 2011 and in June 2016 started operating regular flights, with destinations such as Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Lima, Peru. Plus Ultra's fleet was initially made up of two pre-owned Airbus A340-300s which were taken over from Gulf Air in late 2014.

Passengers on Plus Ultra Líneas flying Business Class are entitled to two items of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 8kg per bag.
Passengers on Plus Ultra Líneas Aereas flying Economy Class are entitled to one item of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 8kg.
Checked Baggage
Passengers flying on Plus Ultra Líneas Aereas in Business Class are entitled to three items of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 23kg per bag.
Passengers flying on Plus Ultra Líneas in Economy Class are entitled to one item of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 23kg.
For passengers flying on Plus Ultra Líneas Aereas between Tenerife North-Caracas—Tenerife North the baggage allowance is different.

Airport Check-In
Passengers must check-in at the airport for all Plus Ultra Líneas Aereas flights. Airport check-in can be completed by visiting one the Plus Ultra Líneas check-in counters. Although it differs from flight to flight, Plus Ultra Líneas Aereas airport check-in usually closes one hour before scheduled flight departure time on international flight and 45 minutes before scheduled flight departure time on domestic flights.

Adolfo Suárez Mardid—Barajas Airport, also known as Madrid—Barajas Airport is Spain and Madrid's primary international airport and the hub airport for Plus Ultra Líneas Aereas. The airport is one of the largest airports in Europe by size and in the top ten busiest airports in Europe by passenger traffic.
The airport was built in the 1920s and opened for service in 1928. The airport is connected with Madrid's railway system, including the cities metro system. The airport is split into five different terminals, named T1, T2, T3, T4 and T4S. Every terminal in the airport facilitates passenger services.
Other airlines that use Adolfo Suárez Madrid—Barajas Airport as its hub include Air Europa and Iberia.

Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas and Venezuela look to create new carrier
According to Plus Ultra Líneas Aêreas President, Fernndo Manzo, the Spanish airline are planning to create a new subsidary airline with help from Venezuela that will connect five European cities to five Latin American cities via Caracas.
Plus Ultra and Venezuela's relationship has been growing as of late — the airline launched a new route that connects Madrid and Caracas earlier this month. While the cities that are involved in Plus Ultra's plans are still disclosed, the airline plans to launch its new subsidary in 2019.

Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas to operate two new services to Caracas
Plus Ultra will start two new services that will link Simón Bolívar International Airport (CCS) in Caracas, Venezuela to two different destinations in Spain.
The first will be a service between Simón Bolívar and Plus Ultra's airport hub, Madrid Barajas (MAD) that will run twice a week. The flight time is expected to take 9 hours and 30 minutes. The second service is between Simón Bolivar and Tenerife North (TFN) and will operate once a week. The journey has an estimated flight time of 7 hours and 45 minutes. This airport is currently also the hub for a number of airlines, including Iberia Express and Air Europa.
Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas' vice president, Julio Martinez Soia, stated that these new routes to Spain will benefit the estimated 300,000 Venezuelans that currently reside in Spain.

Plus Ultra announced it was currently operating one-way Madrid Barajas-Caracas Simón Bolivar flights for Conviasa, following the cancellation of a wet-lease arrangement between Conviasa and Wamos Air.
The A340-300 EC-MFA has been plying the trans-Atlantic route on May 8, May 9 and May 10 as Conviasa flight V03013 to bring stranded Venezuelans back to Caracas. For its part, Plus Ultra cancelled its Madrid Barajas – Santo Domingo Las Américas service earlier this year, after facing tough competition with established carriers Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas) and Air Europa (UX, Palma Son Sant Joan) in the South American market. It has, however, announced a Madrid – Santiago de Chile Int'l service to start in mid-2017 adding to its currently only scheduled service between Madrid and Lima Int'l.

Plus Ultra announced two new routes: Barcelona-Madrid-Santiago and from the 1st July 2017 Barcelona-Havana both operated by an Airbus A340-300.
Plus Ultra flies to many destinations including Santiago de Chile, Havana, Santo Domingo, Lima, Barcelona and Madrid. As of January 2017, the airline operates two Airbus A340-300s.
January 2017
Plus Ultra announced it will shortly end its Madrid Barajas-Santo Domingo Las Americas, Dominician Republic service amid increasing tough competition with established carriers Iberia and Air Europa in the South American market.
The service, which launched in July last year as a 2x weekly service, was reduced to a weekly flight in October on the grounds. in September, Plus Ultra announced it would add a third A340-300 to its fleet for the proposed launch of flights to Mexico and Chile later this year.

Plus Ultra commenced operations and the livery of Plus Ultra has been seen in many airports such as Madrid, Bilbao, Vitoria, Alicante, Paris, Milan, Toulouse, Caracas, Buenos Aires, Gothenburg, Mombasa, Zanzibar, Dubrovnik, Crete, Cyprus etc. On the 17th of July 2015 Plus Ultra received the Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), being the first Spanish company to achieve this under the new European AIR OPS regulations. The fleet is composed of two A340-300s with a total capacity of 303 passengers in two classes and boasts the latest technology in aviation.
