Passengers flying Economy Class on Nordavia are entitled to one item fo carry-on baggage with a weight allowance of 5kg, while passengers flying Business Class on Nordavia are allowed one item of carry-on baggage with a weight allowance of 10kg.

Passengers flying Economy Class on Nordavia are entitled to a maximum of 20kg of free checked baggage and passengers flying Business Class are entitled 30kg of checked baggage.

Nordavia to fly between Murmansk and Oslo in summer 2018
This summer, Russian airline Nordavia is to launch a new service that will connect Russia with Norway. The new route will fly between Murmansk Airport (MMK) and Oslo Airport (OSL) once a week from 11th June 2018. The nonstop service has an estimated flight time of 2 hours and 35 minutes and the airline will use the Boeing 737-500 aircraft to operate the route.
As it stands, the service is scheduled to terminate on 2nd July 2018. However, Nordavia may look to bring back the flight route if it proves to be popular.

Russia's Nordavia to add maiden B737NextGen
Nordavia (5N, Arkhangelsk) is set to take delivery of its maiden B737NextGen with msn 30038 in the process of making its way to Russia. The 13-year-old twinjet is one of two ex-AeroMéxico (AM, México City) machines being sourced by the carrier with the second, msn 28262, due to arrive later in the year.
The chief executive of Nordavia, Anatoly Semenyuk, told Tass earlier this year that, in addition to these two leased aircraft, the carrier was also looking at adding a further two to three of the type this year.
At present, Nordavia operates nine B737-500s on scheduled passenger flights to 21 destinations across Russia as well as Belarus and Georgia.

Russian airline Nordavia adds Minsk service from the end of this month
Russian carrier Nordavia later this month is adding new service to Belarus, as the airline schedules St. Petersburg – Minsk route. On board Boeing 737-500 aircraft, the airline will operate this route twice a week, from 23FEB18.

Russian airline Nordavia authorized for St Petersburg-Minsk flights
Nordavia, a Russian airline, has been authorized to serve the route St Petersburg-Minsk, BelTA learned from the Aviation Department of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry.
“Nordavia applied for authorization even earlier than the Pobeda airline. Pobeda was authorized to operate St Petersburg-Minsk flights in early December 2017,” the department said and clarified that Nordavia has been allowed to launch the flights as from March. There is no specific information on the flight schedule for the time being.
BelTA reported earlier that another Russian air carrier, Pobeda, has been authorized to operate flights between St Petersburg and Minsk as from 25 March 2018. The company has also been allowed to fly from Moscow to Gomel as from 16 February 2018. The Russian air carrier Nordavia-Regional Airlines operates regular and charter flights to more than 30 Russian and foreign airports.
Nordavia is a market leader in passenger traffic in northwest Russia.

Nordavia considers direct flights to Oslo
Northern Russia could again be connected with Norway as Nordavia draws a new route map from Murmansk.
Nordavia officials tell regional news portal B-Port that Oslo is on the list of consideration for new direct flights from Murmansk. If so, flights could start by the end of 2018.
In March this year, Nordavia will receive a new Boeing 737NG, the latest version of the world’s most sold medium-range twinjet.
There has never been a direct flight Murmansk-Oslo although the bilateral aviation agreement between the two countries opened for such option in 2006. Both SAS and Norwegian were considering the route. Norwegian directly from Oslo to Murmansk, while SAS planned for a stop-over in Tromsø.
After the giant Shtokman natural gas project was shelved in 2012, cross-border business developments declined and so did the potential number of passengers.
For some few years in the 90s, Braathens SAFE was flying with a Boeing 737 once a week between Tromsø and Murmansk with connection to Oslo.

Nordavia confirmed that the airline will change its name to SmartAvia from the end of October 2017 and as well planned to unveil plans for a new livery.
On the name, Nordavia owner Sergei Kuznetsov says it will help the company to position itself in the market. "The brand reflects the message of passengers; we want to ensure that our services are smart," he is reported as saying.
Nordavia is also hoping that by removing 'north' from its name, it will more easily stand out from competitors Nordwind Airlines and NordStar.
The new livery will still be in NordAvia's colours – blue, orange and grey – but with a design that moves away from its Aeroflot ancestry. It is set to be utilised immediately on Nordavia/SmartAvia's four new A320-200s which are due to join the fleet this month.

Nordavia announced a codeshare agreement with Red Wings with the two airlines to provide single ticketing on their combined route networks.
Nordavia is 100% owned by Sky Invest, which in turn is co-owner of Red Wings. Following Sky Invest's purchase of Nordavia last year, the two companies announced that they would gradually begin to work together. Twelve routes operated by Red Wings were transferred to Nordavia. Red Wings is soon to be 100% owned by its parent firm and lessor, the Ilyushin Finance Co. This codeshare agreement suggests that even with a change in ownership, the planned synergies between the two airlines will still go ahead. Nordavia currently operates a fleet of nine B737-500s on flights throughout western Russia, while Red Wings has an all-Tupolev Design Bureau fleet. In April 2017, Nordavia will expand Kaliningrad flights in summer of 2017.
Nordavia, during the summer season is offering expanded service at Kaliningrad, with the addition of Arkhangelsk – Kaliningrad service. From 01JUN17 to 31AUG17, this route will be served by Boeing 737-500, once a week.
The carrier also offers Kaliningrad flight from Moscow Domodedovo, Murmansk and St. Petersburg.
