NextJet has rebranded and now operates as Air Scandic
NextJet is a provincial airline in Sweden with its main operating base at Stockholm Arlanda airport.
NextJet serves the following destinations including Kokkola, Mariehamn, Oulu, Turku, Trømso, Arvidsjaur, Gallivare, Goteborg, Hemavan, Jonkoping, Karlstad, Kramfors, Luleå, Stockholm, Sundsvall, Visby, Ornskoldsvik, Vilhelmina and many others.
NextJet is a small independent airline operating to seven airports in Scandinavia: Stockholm, Hagfors, Sveg, Torsby, Orebro and Mora in Sweden along with Copenhagen in Denmark.
Flights are operated by a 19-seater Beech 1900D aeroplane. NextJet also operates air-taxi and charter flight using a Cessna 560XL which justifies the "Jet" part of NextJet.
NextJet's fleet consists of BAe ATP, Saab 340A, Saab 340B.
NextJet serve most of their domestic destinations from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.
As of summer 2010 they also serve a lot of domestic destinations from Stockholm-Bromma Airport on behalf of Sverigeflyg.
As of summer 2010 they also serve Stockholm-Arlanda Airport and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport from Mariehamn Airport on the behalf of Air Åland. Many of the domestic routes operated by NextJet are subsidised by the Swedish government.
One of the airline's investors is former member of ABBA, Björn Ulvaeus. It also operates taxi and executive charter flights with two business jet aircraft. NextJet has 14 aircrafts and 330 employees and serve 18 destinations in Scandinavia.
NextJet has a codeshare agreement with SAS, interline agreements with KLM, Finnair, Airfrance, Qatar and Wideroe. In June 2016, NextJet ceased the route between Halmstad and Arlanda.
NextJet has 14 aircraft that operates within their route network as well as on behalf of other operators.
Baggage
All NextJet's tickets allow one piece of checked in baggage, maximum 23 kilos, and 1 carry on luggage.
The allowance for carry on luggage is 5kg and a maximum size of 45 x 35 x 20cm.
Business Class tickets allow another piece of checked in baggage.
Everyone travelling with checked in baggage need to show an id-card. If passengers are travelling with carry on luggage they can travel without an id-card.

NextJet release wet-lease plans for summer 2018
Swedish airline, NextJet, have announced that it will wet-lease two CRJ-200 aircrafts from Voyageur Airways. The airline have stated that one of these jets will be used to operate their service between Gällivare Airport (GEV) and Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN).
Additionally, NextJet will also wet-lease a pair of ATR42/72 jets from DAT — Danish Air Transport and its subsidary DOT — Danu Oro Transportas. From 1st May to 2th June, these aircrafts will fly on the airlines' service between Luleá Airport (LLA) and Göteborg Landvetter Airport (GOT)

NextJet announced the discontinuation of Hoga Kusten Flyg virtual carrier brand
It would begin operating Höga Kusten Flyg's Örnsköldsvik-Stockholm Arlanda service under the NextJet brand with effect from May 1, 2017. Höga Kusten Flyg started operating the route in 2008. In December 2012, it acquired Nextjet but continued to run the route under its own brand albeit recently using a ATR72-200 wet-leased from DOT - Danu oro transportas.
October 2016
NextJet will be forced to suspend subsidised flights between Stockholm Vasteras and Helsinki Vantaa by 1 November following concerns from the Swedish authorities over the route's poor loads and significant losses.
The route's losses are set against Stockholm Västerås airport's own losses which, this year, will reach a record SEK45 million (USD5.1 million).
