About LAN Airlines
LAN Airlines was a Chilean Airline based in the country’s capital, Santiago de Chile. The airline is now rebranded as LATAM Airlines after a merger in 2011 between Chile's LAN Airlines and Brazil's TAM Airlines in which airlines such as LAN Colombia (formerly Aires) were integrated into the brand.
The LATAM Airlines Group now offer services to over 66 destinations across 21 countries in 4 continents of the world.
Destinations in North America and the Caribbean include; Punta Cana, Cancun, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. Destinations in South America include destinations in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. The weight of the main carry-on bag is 8kg for Economy passengers, or 16kg for Premium Economy and Premium Business passengers.

LAN Airlines Check-In Information
Online Check-In
LAN Airlines passengers can check-in online via the LATAM Airlines website. This will be available between 48 hours and 2 hours before your scheduled departure time.
