About Globus Airlines

Founded in 2007, Globus Airlines, or Globus LLC, is a Russian Airline based at Moscow Domodedovo International Airport. Globus is owned by East Line Group and operates in cooperation with S7 Airlines. Its main purpose is as a leisure airline, carrying passengers to popular holiday destinations.

Globus Airlines offers both charter and scheduled passenger services to international and domestic destinations. Globus Airlines is known for its distinctive light green airline livery and overall, flies to over 35 destinations with a fleet of more than 20 aircraft.

Originally, Globus Airlines was launched as a subsidiary of S7 Airlines. Globus initially used a single Tupolev Tu-154M to operate charter flights from its first base at Novosibirsk airport. Shortly thereafter, the airline acquired another Tupolev Tu-154M and a Boeing 737-400, which it used to start flying scheduled passenger services.

By 2009, S7 Airlines sold Globus Airlines to the airport infrastructure business, East Line Group. Since then, Globus Airlines has been operating leisure flights to popular holiday destinations and — despite there being no official connection— continues to work closely with S7 Airlines.
