- Most airlines will let infants travel with their parent(s) for free. However some airlines will charge up to 10% of the adult ticket price. Click on 'Price Breakdown' to find out more.
- If you are pregnant, but due before the flight departure date, please contact us once your baby is born and has a name. We can then add him/her to your ticket.
- Infants will not be given a seat. The airlines expect parents to travel with them on their lap.
- Airlines regard infants as being under 24 months old.
- The fare is based on the child's age on the date of travel.

STEP 1
Fill out the Alternative Airlines search form with:
- The airports you want to fly between
- The dates you want to fly on
- The number of people travelling and the cabin class
Click on the 'search flights' button to start searching for flights!
Your currency of choice: change the currency you search and pay in with our currency changer marked in red. We accept over 160 different currencies!
STEP 2
On the flight search results page, we show all available flights from each airline flying your chosen route.
Personalise your search: use our handy filters on the left-hand side of the page to personalise your search. Or, sort your search by lowest price or fastest route.
STEP 3
Once you have chosen the flight perfect for you. Confirm your selection.
No nasty surprises: we want to make sure you get the right flight! Click on the blue details icon to see complete flight details and fare rules.
STEP 4
You'll be redirected to the passenger details page where we'll hold your seats for 20 minutes. But you won't need that long, it only takes a minute! All you need to do is:
- Enter the details of each passenger
- Enter your contact information
- Add any bags or select your seat (subject to availability)
Speeding things up: at this stage, we won't ask for your passport details. We'll only need them if the airline has specifically requested them.
STEP 5
On the same page, choose the payment method that you want to pay with. In this example, we've chosen Visa Credit Card.
Click 'continue to payment' to go to the payment page.
Pay your way: we offer over 25 different payment methods. Including PayPal, Affirm and Klarna.
STEP 6
Confirm your booking on the payment page by clicking 'secure payment'.
Changed your mind? If you decide you want to pay in a different way, you can use the drop-down list to change the payment method without losing your reservation.
STEP 7
When prompted, enter the details required to complete the payment.
Safe & secure: all payments with Alternative Airlines are 100% safe and your payment details are fully protected.
STEP 8
That's it! Your booking is now confirmed. We'll send you your e-ticket via email within the next 12 hours.
For good measure: we'll also send you an instant confirmation and receipt to your email address, for your records.
